Samsung is preparing a tablet based on Chrome OS with a high-quality camera and removable keyboard

It seems that Google really shifted its focus from Android to Chrome OS in the tablet market, and the search giant's partners made appropriate adjustments to their plans. Now it became known that Samsung is working on the creation of a new device running the operating system Chrome OS. Judging by the available data, it will be just a tablet, supplemented with a keyboard unit, so that the device can be used as a laptop. This device appears under the code name Nautlius.

It is reported that the Samsung Nautlius tablet uses a seventh-generation Intel Core processor, as well as a camera based on the Sony IMX258 sensor. As a rule, Chromebook devices are equipped with cameras with 720p. And in this case the module used also in the LG G6 smartphone is used. Thus, Nautlius can become the first device with Chrome OS, equipped with a more functional camera.

Unfortunately, more detailed information on the characteristics of the tablet Samsung Nautlius has not yet been reported. It is assumed that it can be presented in the coming days during the exhibition of consumer electronics CES 2018.
