The updated notebook Huawei MateBook D (2018) received improved CPU and GPU

Huawei has prepared for release an updated model of the MateBook D laptop, which was introduced earlier this year. The new version is called the MateBook D (2018), an improved processor and a more productive graphics subsystem.

The design of the new notebook Huawei MateBook D (2018) has not changed. The device is made in a thin metal case, its thickness is only 16.9 mm. A 15.6-inch display with Full HD resolution provides 178-degree viewing angles and a maximum image brightness of 350 nits. The device is equipped with an Intel 8th generation processor (Core i5-8250U or Core i7-8550U) and 8 GB of RAM. The modification with the Core i5-8250U chip can contain a 256 GB solid state drive or a disk subsystem with a 128 GB SSD and a 1 TB HDD. For the version with the Core i7-8550U processor, only the second disk subsystem configuration is available. Another innovation in Huawei MateBook D (2018) was the use of a discrete graphics card NVIDIA MX150 instead of NVIDIA 940MX in the previous model. The battery capacity of 43.3 Wh provides up to 10 hours of battery life. The laptop has a panoramic Dolby speaker system, two USB 3.0 ports, one USB 2.0 port, and an HDMI video output. As the operating system is preinstalled Microsoft Windows 10.

Huawei MateBook D (2018) notebook is already available for purchase in China for about $ 791 for the version with Intel Core i5-8250U and SSD for 256 GB, $ 837 for the modification with Core i5 -8250U and SSD on 128 GB + HDD for 1 TB, $ 1020 for the top configuration with Core i7-8550U and SSD for 128 GB + HDD for 1 TB.
