The other night Chloe really wanted to see American Idol (don’t ask me why) but it was going to be on after her bedtime.  This made her very sad.

She brightened when she remembered Tivo!  She asked if we could please record it with Tivo.  I said “No” because Tivo was already scheduled to record something else.

Again: this made her sad.

I told her that she would just have to use the VCR.

“Daddy, what’s a VCR?”

Oy - who knew that a video cassette recorder was so antique!!
