snow snow snow

We got more snow.  Like, nine inches of snow.  Its lovely, I have to admit.  And it was fluffy enough that it wasn’t too much trouble shoveling it.  It seemed like nothing went right today.  I got up at 6:30am on a saturday to clear the snow so we could get to the kids’ swimming lessons.  When we arrived, there was nobody else there.  It had been cancelled and somehow we weren’t told! I tried to take the kids out to the woods for a walk in the pretty snow.  grace was very excited and got her backpack ready.  Chloe agreed to to go.  The boys griped and complained the whole way.  By the time we crossed the first field grace’s boots were filled with snow.  I had planned to be out for at least an hour and I was sure that if we stayed out the whole time Grace’s feet would be freezing.  So we all had to pack it in.I tried to reorganize my desk but somehow everyone kept coming in with a myriad of things for me to do.  It was a drag.I watched Stargate (the movie) with Gabe.  He liked it and we enjoyed watching it together.  Then Liz and I watched Balls of Fury, with Christopher Walken.  All I can say is:   wow, that was easily the worst movie I’ve seen in the last year or two or three.  It was much worse than I expected.  I mean, I thought it might be dumb, but in a stupid/funny way.  It wasn’t any of those.Oy - I can’t say enough bad things about this piece of shit.  I’m a big fan of Christopher Walken and can put up with a lot from him, but this was awful in a whole new dimension.Steer clear.Tomorrow - errands, I think.  Maybe I’ll try to get back to the woods.
