This weekend I have to finish work on the pinewood derby cars. Chloe’s and Gabe’s are complete - they just need the wheels/axles attached. Grace’s and Ben’s are barely started. I need to finish the shaping on Ben’s and then turn it over to him for any detail work and painting. For Grace’s I need to cut it out, add the detail and paint it. Really, if I focus on it I should be able to wrap it up in a couple of hours. Grace’s car is really my car. She’s so little that she can’t really do anything except maybe sand it and buff it.

On Sunday I have a 4:45pm flight for Dallas, so I guess I’ll have to be there around 3pm or 3:30pm. I will continue to be accessible via email and cell phone so I don’t think I will be very far behind on my work when I return next week.
