Back when the newly designed

Back
when the newly designed Nissan Z350 came out I absolutely fell in love
with it. I think its one of the hottest cars on the road and really
gets my engine going. I remember the first time I saw one. It was in a
commerical in a movie theater.

Although I despise watching commercials in a movie theater this was an
exception. I had gone to see one of the Lord of the Rings movies and
this commercial came on. It showed a brand new Nissan Z350 zooming
through the cobble-stoned streets of Prague. It got up to 123mph as it
screamed around corners and zipped between other cars. The sound in the
theater was incredible and the camera angles were masterful.

When the commercial ended, more than anything else in the world, I wanted a new Z.

Instead, I settled for the commercial. I called up Nissan and found out
how I could purchase the ad. I still have it on DVD. The little woman
tried to throw it away last month but I insisted that I still watched
it from time to time. At first I don’t think she believed me.

Then I think she just thoguht I was nuts.

Good news. There’s a new commerical. It doesn’t rev my engines the way the first one did but I still want that Z!

You
want an omelet pan?  I distantly remember this conversation, but
maybe it was with someone else.  Dude, this thing doesn’t come
with batteries or shit on the floor or get your flabby ass into
shape!  What do you want w/ an omelet pan?

I
have a smallish frying pan, but its frankly a little
large.  I like omlettes.  I can actually make them and
have them turn out pretty good.  This is a beautiful pan and I
think its orange color is really hot.

I covet this pan but can‘t bring myself to spend the $50+ for it.

Sadly, neither can anyone else.

I
like breakfast and I make all kinds of things for breakfast.
Well, you know, things *I* like.  Not waffles.  I don’t have
much use for waffles.  Know what my secret is for blueberry
pancakes?  Use frozen blueberries.  They come out great in
the pancake.

All manner of sausage and bacon.  The little woman likes
to keep the microwavable bacon around but I think its too thin to have
much flavor.  The thicker bacon is delicious but tends to produce
voluminous amounts of bacon grease - which I hate.  The best idea,
all around for cooking bacon is to use a cooling rack in the oven and
bake it.  The bacon drops all its fat on the cookie sheet you have
underneath the cooling rack and your bacon comes out crispy and
flavorful every time!

Naturally, cereal is a no-brainer.  I’m particularly fond of Frosted Flakes.

The
best kind of oatmeal is made in a crockpot.  No question.
And I will accept no argument on this fact.  Its indisputable.

I used to be ok with pizza for breakfast, but I can’t stand it now.

Chilli continues to be just fine, though.

Cottage cheese and fruit is outstanding for breakfast.  But it doesn’t leave me feeling satisfied like eggs and whatnot.

I still need to work on fritattas, breakfast burritos, eggs benedict and home fries.

See? I’ve decided to major in “breakfast”
