still have lots of work to do, but there are some cute pictures in
here, too. At this point, Roy (asphalt guy) has come and removed my old
asphalt driveway, dug a 1′ hole and then mostly filled it with gravel.
Then we set up a frame around the driveway so we could build a 4″ slab
of concrete. Aggregate Industries brought 16,000lbs of concrete around
10:30am. Rodney worked like a dog getting it all smoothed out and the
terrazzo stones installed. Now we’re letting it cure overnight.
Tomorrow (Saturday) we’ll rent a concrete floor grinder and smooth the
whole thing out and reveal the pretty stones. I’ll send more photos
later.
