I would like to go to the Lynn Woods this weekend.  I think it would be fun
for Ben and I to take our bicycles and go for a ride on some of their fire
roads.  Parts of it are exceptionally hilly.  Same goes for the Middlesex Fells  They’re both enormous conservation
areas very close to Boston.  I think the Fells may be somewhat less hilly — no,
that’s not true… they’re both very hilly. 

In any case, I think the other kids would
like to come but none of them have learned how to ride a bike yet.  Maybe this
would motivate them to learn.

But it would make them feel bad.  Hmmm…
maybe I should spend some time teaching them to ride first.  But I have to see
if they WANT to learn to ride first.  I’m not going to badger them in to
learning to ride a bike.  That is, I’ve asked them if they want to learn and
they frequently say “some other time”.

Maybe I can offer to teach them and if they
turn me down I can take just Ben biking.
